Create Prairie Autonomous Region

Political autonomy sufficient enough to allow the prairies to reach their full potential is needed. To create the economic corridors, there is a requirement that the democratic decision related to the land be fully contained within the prairies. This degree of self-sovereignty can be attained through the creation of a Prairie Autonomous Region (PAR). The region would remain under the flag of Canada, but would have greater rights than those conferred upon the provinces by confederation.

There are forty countries in the world that have autonomous regions within their boundaries including Finland, Norway, Germany and Spain. Canada is considered to be one of them because Quebec is effectively already an autonomous zone. Switzerland is also effectively made up of autonomous regions
